What a FANTASTIC week: 7 shows (even managed to see a different one!), a Mariners game, great food, and family in town!
Things are really running pretty smoothly in the show now – we all seemed to have found our groove – now we just have fun problem solving when something new happens! :)
Me & 5 others from the cast (Shawn, Brad, Eric, Michael & Matt) were able to catch a night game and it was very fun – we sat in the bleachers, and hopped around to different sections to get the full experience – including the home team winning! Plus, we ate some great food – sausage, peanuts, garlic fries & chowder. Afterward, we went to Lola downtown and dined on some high-end doughnuts!
I also caught a student matinee of “Fences” by the late (& local) playwright August Wilson at Seattle Rep – such a phenomenal piece of writing – as an actor, I felt like you just need to try to hang on – the story is told in such a rich, powerful way – great to see that kind of theatre.
Lots of photos added to the stream, including the Mariners game and my family (Seattle and regular :)
Enjoy the videos below from the ball game, the Arts Marketing Dept at the Intiman, our Stage Manager JR, and cast member Lori Larsen (from Seattle). Only 9 shows left (including 2 student matinees) – can’t believe the last week is already here!
