A bunch of awesome moments from this week!
(have some of your own? send in a photo + caption to be featured in a future edition of MOW! :)
Ever wonder what the Denver Greyhound station looks like at midnight on Saturday night? You’re welcome. :)
Dinner with Eric + Lisbeth! I even convinced them to serve the salad over steamed and grated cauliflower – they loved it!!
View from my napping spot in Boulder, CO.
On the way up an amazing hike in Boulder along the Foothills. (read more)
Found this ladybug chillin’ in the fields.
Still doesn’t do it justice, but where I’m pointing is where I hiked to (the top fo the ridge) – pretty awesome!!
So cool: as you’re walking along this street in Boulder, there’s a “Share Library”: open the door and either take or leave a book!
Downtown Denver!
My “in-flight meal” – ha! I was hoping the other passengers wouldn’t try and tackle me for this food! :)
(and thanks to Eric for the upgraded tupperware!!)
Opening remarks from Mary at the LIFE (Learning in Freedom Everyday) is Good Conference – I had two talks scheduled there. Plus I learned SO MUCH about Unschooling – such an amazing concept!! In a nutshell: “birds fly, fish swim, kids learn” – trust and go from there…
Now we’re gettin’ serious with grated purple cauliflower! Added this beauty to a pan of vegetables and softened it a bit!
In Vancouver, WA with my couchsurfing host Dennis – he’s preparing for a solo motorcycle trip up to Alaksa. He doesn’t always wear a helmet indoors, but when he does, he does it with some pretty badass shades.
Dennis rolling the cacao/walnut/pecan/date/cherry bites in raw, shredded coconut! sooooo good!!!
My first experience in a Smart Car – it was deceptively roomy inside! :)
The handwritten outline for my Nonstop Awesomeness/Healthy Travel talk! Totally reminded me of my stand-up days (having this in the back pocket, and setting the goal not to look at it during the performance!)
If only it had been actual Power Rangers…
Action photo during my talk: [insert your caption here ;)]
Ah, the Pacific Northwest. It’s nice to be back in a place where you can actually see the rain when you take a picture! Now that’s a storm!! :)
