Now onto the rest of the show… :)
A bunch of awesome moments from this week!
(have some of your own? to be featured in a future edition of MOW! :)
From around West Hollywood and lots of shots of food—here we go!
My very awesome WeHo (that’s West Hollywood to all you non-natives :) hosts Allegra and Alejandro. They were preparing a massive feast!
My Vegan/Paleo chili makes a return—this time with fresh cilantro! Made this for a couple friends, and they loved it! (I think my new favorite hobby is cooking for others! :)
And for dessert: dates stuffed with almond butter and sprinkled with cacao nibs—YUM! I got this idea from Young and Raw’s Halloween-themed recipe guide (as these little treats kinda look like bugs!). Whatever the inspiration, know this: they were amazing!
I was staying pretty close to the Pacific Design Center and the WeHo branch of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)—quite a cool and colorful collection of buildings!
There’s also a rather lovely fountain at the PDC.
Welcome to Real Food Daily (the La Cienega location!) for the birthday lunch of my buddy Dave! I love the mirror imaging of this show: we both got green juices in addition to our waters, and we both had salads: his was the Pro Kale, and mine was the Harvest Salad!
At sunset in WeHo: bonus points if you know where that mural is!! :)
My hosts had quite a collection of board games—this top one caught my eye because it seemed to have my last name (“Agin”) so prominently featured! ;)
Another shot of the PDC/MOCA, this time from the gorgeously redesigned West Hollywood Park!
I know I look serious, but that’s only because I was concentrating! I was shooting a welcome video for a new site (and service) I decided to create and offer:
I had never been in the West Hollywood library, either (also newly redesigned). Remarkably beautiful building, and I was actually surprised it didn’t have a larger collection, though it probably does have the biggest LGBT section of any library around!
While hanging out at the library, I decided to enjoy some tales from “The Return of Sherlock Holmes” (download a copy) on the top floor, overlooking San Vicente Blvd. Here are some fellow bibliophiles and workers enjoying the view!
See ya next week from somewhere else in the world!
