It doesn’t matter.
I am pretty damn healthy these days.
But can I swim the fastest, run the farthest, bike the longest?
It doesn’t matter.
I look at it more in terms of where I’ve been and where I am now.
Am I healthier more now than I was a year ago? Yup.
5 years ago? Definitely.
10 years ago? HELL YES.
Do I hope to be healthier at 42 than I am currently at 32? You better believe it.
*THAT* is all that matters.
Health is not a competition or a race. It’s a personal journey.
Are you better today than you were 6 months ago? 1 year? 5 years? YESTERDAY?
Bit by bit, let’s keep improving.
Instead of competing against everyone else, compete against yourself.
How can you do just a little bit (or a lot) better than before?
What matters is how you’re doing, how you’re growing, stretching, and expanding.
Keep it up.
From the road…

I’m working on myself. I’ve always been pretty fit as an adult and am getting better and better. I do carry a little extra weight and have always blaimed my body type. However I am seeing positive improvements in these areas and working harder to make the right food choices (healthy) more consistently and am seeing fat reduction starting to happen too.
I certainly feel better at 31 than I did at 21 and 41 is going to be an improvement too.
We live in a world of information and that is encouraging. Never before more than now can we find out ANYTHING we want to know about our body and health.
right on! keep up the great work Forest!!
